Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora When Does Co-Op Play Become Available?

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

Frontiers of Pandora’s co-op mode is unlocked after completing the Eywa’s Blessing mission

Co-op in Avatar Frontiers of Pandora is very much a thing, but only once you reach the mission Eywa’s Blessing. After bonding with an ikran, the open-world action game reimagines the beloved film series to offer a lush paradise for jumping, climbing, and swooping through. With so much to see, craft, and do, having a friend along for the ride makes everything much easier.

However, co-op mode is not immediately available when you launch Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. You’ll have to play the game solo until a certain point, which we’ll walk you through right now so you can jump into an Avatar multiplayer session with your friends as soon as possible.

Avatar Frontiers of Pandora co-op gameplay

Play through the main story until Nefika gives you a mission called Eywa’s Blessing before you can play the Avatar game in co-op mode.

This mission sends you out into the forest to learn how to hunt, beginning with the quest-giving location at the Hometree. It also marks the point in the game where you can begin to recruit friends to play Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora with you.

Once you’ve unlocked co-op, open your map and inventory screens and press the left D-pad button (or the left arrow key on your keyboard) to access the Settings menu. The first option on this menu should be co op, and this is where you can connect with online friends and invite them to join you on your adventure. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora also supports cross-play co-op mode by default.
