The Malorian Arms 3516 is an iconic weapon in Cyberpunk 2077 made specifically for Johnny Silverhand, and here is how to get your hands on it
The Malorian Arms 3516, Johnny Silverhand’s personal and fully modified weapon, is a highly desirable and indispensable weapon in the game.
One of the coolest things about this weapon is the fact you do an awesome spinning flair every time you reload it.
Malorian Arms 3516 Weapon Notes and tips:
- When fired from the hip, it ricochets, but when fired with aim, it penetrates walls.
- The weapon functions as both a Power Weapon and a Tech Weapon, although it is only classified as a Power Weapon. The shots ricochet like other Power Weapons when not aimed at the sights. Bullets pierce surfaces when aimed at the visor, just like other tech weapons in the game. It is uncertain if any tech advantages that increase the damage of tech weapons also apply to the Malorian Arms 3516.
- When pointed downwards, the weapon highlights enemies and explosive objects so that you can see them through walls, similar to the Ping Fast Hack, but the effect is not as good or reliable. This is similar to other weapons that can shoot through walls.
- Instead of a fast melee, it uses a short-range explosion that causes burns.
- When stored, it can be seen on the wall of the storage room in V’s residence.
In order to get your hands on the gun, you will need to have finished all the main jobs up to and including “Search and Destroy”.
You can now go to the final objective and the point of no return in the story. However, you must first finish Johnny’s series of side jobs. The job “Chippin’ In” is the one where you receive his pistol.
Accept that Johnny is taking control of your body so he can talk to Rogue. After the scene is over, you should either advance the clock 24 hours or do some gigs and other side jobs for a while. Rogue will then call you and arrange a meeting with her in the afterlife pub.
This meeting is the beginning of a mission in which you will have to sneak aboard a ship called Ebunike. After sneaking or fighting your way through the ship, you’ll have to fight a man named Grayson and his two guards. You’ll get Johnny Silverhand’s pistol, the Malorian Arms 3516, after defeating him.
