Armor in Remnant: From the Ashes is made up of three pieces: Head Armor, Body Armor, and Leg Armor, which work together to form a complete set. Each armor set has a unique bonus that increases as more pieces of the set are equipped. Amour pieces can be obtained from crates/chests, in various locations, from Merchants, or by crafting them.

- Each piece is a set with a unique Skill that grants various buffs and effects.
- By opening the character menu, players can equip and change their desired armor on the fly.
- These can be upgraded through crafting to improve their attributes.
- Armor sets are classified as Light, Medium, Heavy, or Ultra Heavy, determining a player’s overall Encumbrance.
- Armor Skins can be purchased from Whispers in Ward 13 next to Root Mother.
- They can be purchased with Glowing Fragments.
Adventurer:
- Increases the chance to get materials from destroying breakables.
- Increases the amount of scrap picked up by 20%.
- 1 Piece: +10% Chance
- 2 Pieces: +20% Chance
- 3 Pieces: +35% Chance
Akari:
- Perfect Dodging increases Firing, Melee, Reload, and Evade Speed for 20 seconds.
- Slightly increases Evade Window.
- 1 Piece: +7.5% Speed Boost
- 2 Pieces: +15% Speed Boost
- 3 Pieces: +30% Speed Boost
Bandit:
- Chance to replace spent bullet on hit.
- Increases Ammo acquired on pickup by 25%.
- 1 Piece: 10% Chance
- 2 Pieces: 20% Chance
- 3 Pieces: 35% Chance
Carapace:
- After avoiding damage for 15s, armor hardens 1x per piece granting damage reduction.
- Damage removes a stack.
- If all stacks are removed, gain 10% bonus Movement Speed per piece (30% Max) for 5s.
- Increases Total damage from all sources by 5% per piece.
- 1 Piece: +7.5% Reduction, 1x
- 2 Pieces: +15% Reduction, 2x
- 3 Pieces: +25% Reduction, 3x
- Requires Swamps Of Corsus DLC.
Cultist’s:
- Increases Weapon Mod duration.
- Mod Power is generated slowly over time.
- 1 Piece: +30% Mod Duration
- 2 Pieces: +60% Mod Duration
- 3 Pieces: +100% Mod Duration
Drifter’s:
- Sprinting for 1s. Evading, or sliding adds 1 stack of inertia. Inertia stacks increase Ranged and Melee damage. Max 5 Stacks. Lasts 10 seconds. Increases Stamina Regen by 15 per second.
- 1 Piece: +1.5% Damage per Stack
- 2 Pieces: +3% Damage per Stack
- 3 Pieces: +5% Damage per Stack
Elder:
- Dragon Hearts increases the Total damage dealt by all allies standing within 40 meters for 30 seconds.
- Gives a 25% chance to not consume a Dragon Heart.
- 1 Piece: 7.5% Damage
- 2 Pieces: 15% Damage
- 3 Pieces: 30% Damage
Hunter:
- Increases total Ranged and Weakspot damage.
- Reduces Spread of firearms by 20%.
- 1 Piece: +5% Ranged/Weakspot Damage
- 2 Pieces: +10% Ranged/Weakspot Damage
- 3 Pieces: +20% Ranged/Weakspot Damage
Labyrinth:
- Increase Total Weapon Mod damage.
- Refunds 10% of Mod Power on use.
- 1 Piece: +15% Damage
- 2 Pieces: +30% Damage
- 3 Pieces: +50% Damage
- Requires Swamps Of Corsus DLC.
Leto’s:
- 3-Piece: Reduces base incoming damage by 10%.
- Gain an additional 10% per 10% Max Health missing.
- Max 5 stacks.
- 1 Piece: -25% Stamina Cost
- 2Pieces: – 1 Stagger Reduction
- 3 Pieces: +10% Damage Reduction per Stack
Osseous:
- Subsequent Ranged or Melee hits against the same enemy increases the wearer’s Total damage dealt to that enemy.
- The effect degrades over time.
- Melee Speed and Fire Rate are increased by 5%.
- 1 Piece: +10% Maximum Damage
- 2 Pieces: +20% Maximum Damage
- 3 Pieces: +35% Maximum Damage
Radiant:
- Critical hits increase Crit Chance and Crit damage for 3 seconds, stacking up to 10 times.
- Recoil is reduced by 15%.
- 1 Piece: +0.75% Crit Chance and Damage
- 2 Pieces: +1.5% Crit Chance and Damage
- 3 Pieces: +3% Crit Chance and Damage
Scavenger’s:
- Ammo, Iron, and Scrap pickups increase Total Ranged and Melee damage dealt, and reduce incoming damage.
- Stacks 10x.
- Lasts 30s.
- At or below 50% Health, pickups grant 2 stacks.
- Taking direct damage removes 1 stack. Pull Scrap and Iron materials towards the wearer.
- 1 Piece: +0.5% Damage per Stack
- 2 Pieces: +1% Damage per Stack
- 3 Pieces: +2% Damage per Stack
- Requires Swamps Of Corsus DLC.
Scrapper:
- Increases Total damage from all sources dealt by the wearer to enemies within 5 meters.
- Receive 15% less damage from enemies within this range.
- 1 Piece: +7.5% Damage
- 2 Pieces: +15% Damage
- 3 Pieces: +30% Damage
Slayer:
- Reloading increases the Total damage dealt to the next enemy hit with that weapon.
- Lasts 10 seconds.
- Reload speed is increased by 10%.
- 1 Piece: +7.5% Damage
- 2 Pieces: +15% Damage
- 3 Pieces: +30% Damage
Twisted:
- At full health, gain a Regrowth stack every 3 seconds which increases Total outgoing Melee and Weapon Mod damage.
- Stacks 10x. Taking damage removes 1 stack.
- Regenerates 0.334 Health per second.
- 1 Piece: +0.75% Damage Boost per Stack
- 2 Pieces: +1.5% Damage Boost per Stack
- 3 Pieces: +3% Damage Boost per Stack
Void:
- After 5 seconds, gain a boost that increases Total damage from all sources.
- Taking damage transfers the boost from Damage to Damage Reduction for 5 seconds.
- Standing Aim Movement Speed is increased by 25%.
- 1 Piece: +7.5% Damage Boost
- 2 Pieces: +15% Damage Boost
- 3 Pieces: +25% Damage Boost
Warlords:
- Dragon Hearts are no longer consumed for healing.
- They instead increase Ranged and Melee damage, grant lifesteal, and drain 200% health over the 30s.
- Kills heal 5% over 3s.
- 1 Piece: +10% Damage, +1% Lifesteal
- 2 Pieces: +25% Damage, +2% Lifesteal
- 3 Pieces: +35% Damage, +3.5% Lifesteal
- Requires the Subject 2923 DLC.
