12-New-Games-Coming-To-Nintendo-Switch-December-2023

The last month of the year will bring 12 exciting games to Nintendo Switch

Though these are the titles we can’t wait to get our hands on, this is by no means an exhaustive list of games that will be available on the Nintendo Switch in December 2023. You can actually purchase each of the three Batman games—Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and Arkham Knight—individually. Yes, we are aware that the table below only has ten titles.

It’s unclear as of yet whether there will be more games available because the video below only includes the most recent information.

Here is a deeper look into the games coming to Nintendo Switch this month:

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince (1st of December):

A spin-off series of the Dragon Quest games. It sets the player in a medieval/fantasy world filled with magic, monsters, and knights. Unlike the original Dragon Quest games, the player’s character does not do any of the fighting in battles; instead, the player has to rely on capturing, breeding, and raising monsters to do the fighting for them.

SteamWorld Build (1st of December):

Break ground on a new frontier as the planet dies around you! Dig deep and build wide to excavate long-lost spacefaring technology, while ensuring everyone has the vital water, fuel, and creature comforts they need! Do you have what it takes to reach the final frontier?

Batman: Arkham Trilogy (1st of December):

is a series of action-adventure video games based on the DC Comics character Batman. The main games in the Batman: Arkham series have been met with commercial success and critical acclaim, with praise for their narratives, voice acting, world design, graphics, and gameplay.

A Highland Song (5th of December):

Moira McKinnon is running away. A wild adventure through the Scottish Highlands, with open platforming and dynamic storytelling, maps, and music. From the creators of Heaven’s Vault and 80 Days.

Born of Bread (5th of December):

Born of Bread is a wacky and joyful RPG Adventure, revisiting turn-based combat tropes. Play as Loaf, a flour golem discovering this enchanting world full of humor, along with a colorful cast of buddies.

Outer Wilds: Archaeologist Edition (7th of December):

Outer Wilds is an open-world mystery about a solar system trapped in an endless time loop.

Trip World DX (11th of December) (Europe):

In Trip World, the player controls Yakopoo through five relatively large and slightly linear stages. They include areas such as a mountain, a jungle, the ocean, and a castle.

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet – The Indigo Disk (14th of December):

It follows The Teal Mask. As such, completion of the main story of The Teal Mask, as well as completing the main story of Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet, are prerequisites to beginning the main story of The Indigo Disk

Animal Well (late 2023/ early2024):

Explore a dense, interconnected labyrinth, and unravel its many secrets. Collect items to manipulate your environment in surprising and meaningful ways. Encounter beautiful and unsettling creatures, as you attempt to survive what lurks in the dark. There is more than what you see.

Eastward: Octopia (late 2023/ early2024):

Sam and John return in an all-new adventure! In this heartwarming story-driven farming sim, players can grow crops, tend livestock, and turn an abandoned fairground into a thriving village, with the help of the weird and wonderful cast of beloved Eastward characters.

These are the games that we currently know are heading to Nintendo in the near future. We’ll keep you informed of any new developments regarding these as well as the addition of new titles to the platform.
