From when it was released on Xbox 360 in 2010 and PC in 2012, this game has increased in its popularity, leading Alan Wake onto the Steam Sale list.
The story follows best-selling thriller novelist Alan Wake as he tries to uncover the mystery behind his wife’s disappearance during a vacation in the small town of Bright Falls, Washington, all while experiencing events from the plot in his latest novel, which he cannot remember writing, coming to life.
The game consists of six episodes not unlike a thriller television series that contains plot twists and cliff-hangers.
The storyline is continued by two special episodes titled “the signal” and “the writer”, that were made as DLC’S shortly after the release of the game.

The game itself took five years to create which in the gaming industry is an unusually long time, but in the end, it was all worth it as Remedy Entertainment really knocked one out of the park with this one.
The PC version of this extraordinary game will be available on Steam for only R10.50 for the original and R13 for the Collector’s edition until the 18th of May. So if I were you I would go get it …right now.
