Ark 2 is still scheduled to be released in 2024, with Vin Diesel and the works
This is according to Snail Games, as first reported by IGN. Snail Games CEO Jim Tsai confirmed at the Noblecon19 business conference earlier this month in December that Ark 2 will still be released in late 2024.
Snail Games is a Chinese developer who has previously worked on a variety of games with other development studios. Other titles include Studio Wildcard’s Ark: Survival Evolved and Survival Ascended, as well as the action RPG Wushu Chronicles and the pirate-themed MMO Atlas.
Tsai praised Ark 2 as the developer’s “next masterpiece,” touting a late 2024 release date. Ark 2 was previously rumored to be delayed until 2025 earlier this year, but Tsai’s comments appear to indicate that the rumor was genuinely false, as support studio Digital Domain stated at the time.
However, Ark 2 has already been delayed several times. It was supposed to be released last year in 2022 for PC and Xbox Series X/S platforms, but it was pushed back to 2023, and then again to 2024. Thankfully, we’re not dealing with a fourth postponement for the survival sequel.
