The Fantasy Survival game will reportedly remain on Game Pass for three years after its release
Studio Wildcard is set to release the new installment of the Ark series in 2023. although we have no exact release date as yet. Its arrival will most likely occur in the second half of the year.
The original game came out in 2017 and features all sorts of dinosaurs and natural hazards. Due to the lack of gameplay footage, we are unsure of what to anticipate from it. We do expect an amazing fantasy setting though if the last game is anything to go by.
Studio Wildcard released a breathtaking cinematic trailer. The trailer showcases the beautiful fantasy world expected as well as some Vin Diesel screen time which is promising.

According to a legal document found by YouTuber GP, Studio Wildcard’s follow-up to Ark: Survival Evolved, Ark 2, will be available on Xbox Game Pass for three years following its release.
According to the agreement, Studio Wildcard and Microsoft have a “long-term title license agreement (“game pass”) for a period of three years.”2018 saw the formation of the Ark: Survival Evolved agreement, but it was “subsequently amended in June 2020 to extend the ARK 1 game pass perpetually effective January 1, 2022, and to put ARK 2 on game pass for three years upon release,” according to the document.
This document suggests that both Ark and Ark 2 will remain on the Game Pass service for three years. This is great news for fans and Game Pass subscribers alike.
Even though we don’t have a set release date. We do know that it is set to be an Xbox-exclusive title with a console launch on the Xbox Series X/S.
This makes sense as Ark: Survival Evolved was a console launch exclusive in December 2015 when it first came out.
As Santiago, the primary protagonist of Ark 2, will be portrayed by Vin Diesel, the sequel appears to be of monumental proportions. Players can expect an epic narrative, “souls-like” melee fighting. As well as a vast new alien landscape, dynamic world events, sensory-based creature AI, and much more from Studio Wildcard.
