The Sigrblot festival will begin on the 29th of July and end on the 19th of August and one of the rewards will be the one-handed sword. Players must have finished one of the first two narrative arcs and achieved settlement level 2 to participate in the Sigrblot Festival.

It will also build the basis for The Siege of Paris DLC, introduce new skills, and solve several bugs and other difficulties. The patch will include support for the upcoming Siege of Paris DLC which will be released on the 12th of August 2021. This update merely lays the stage for it, so users will need to download the DLC when it becomes available.

The patch is being released today on all platforms for the game at 5 AM PT / 8 AM ET / 2 PM CEST / 10 PM AEST.

As far as file size goes there will be a substantial difference between Xbox Series X/S and PS5 with Xbox Series X/S users having a download of 23.79 GB instore and PS5 users will have a download of 6.85 GB.

The scaling system will be adjustable from the main menu and will have no effect on boss fights or game modes, with the default setting bringing lower-level foes up to 30 power levels under the user. Constant implies adversaries will always have the same power level as the player, Harder means they will be 20 power levels stronger, and Nightmarish means they will be 50 power levels stronger.
