While BlizzCon won’t take place, Blizzard promises to share updates on its game launches throughout the year. Highlights include fresh insights into World of Warcraft: The War Within and the unveiling of Diablo IV’s expansion, Vessel of Hatred. These announcements will be featured at various industry events like Gamescom, along with celebrations marking the 30th anniversary of Warcraft through in-person events worldwide.

With Microsoft now at the helm, Blizzard may leverage platforms like the Xbox Showcase or Developer Direct livestream for further updates. Additionally, events like Summer Game Fest offer alternative avenues for Blizzard to engage with fans and provide updates on ongoing projects, ensuring a steady flow of information despite the absence of BlizzCon this year.
