Candi_Rocket: The Streamer With A Sense Of Humour

This fun-loving streamer/content creator brings a lively energy to your screen.

Candi_rocket or Candice seems to put everything she has into her streams, whether it’s just chatting or playing games with viewers, she does so with energy and passion.

This fun-loving streamer engages with her viewers during her Twitch streams and makes them feel extremely welcome, all while brightening their day. Making her streams fun and enjoyable to watch seems to be the point of her channel and it is evident that she loves it.

Don’t be fooled, though she has a serious side to her personality and is passionate about what she believes in, as evidenced by her content.

We were very intrigued and wanted to find out more so we got an interview with her and this is how it went down:

We get right to the point and ask, Who is Candi_rocket, and what is your backstory?:

“This question always puts me into a mini existential crisis. In short though I am a high-energy variety gamer/streamer who loves a good laugh and has loved gaming since my grandad bought us an Atari.
I got into streaming during the pandemic after watching a few of ArchAngeAmbel’s streams. The idea that I could meet new people have a laugh and game was a no-brainer! The rest as they say is history. I have been streaming for a year and I love every moment of it.”

What is your role in the gaming community?

“So I would say I have more of a role in the ZA streaming community than the gaming community. I love gaming but I am by no stretch of the imagination competitive in any of the games I frequently play.
I guess my role is bringing people together in any way I can. I try to bring happy, positive and energetic vibes to my streams and to other streams I pop into.
My hope is even if you aren’t having the best day I can make it a little less heavy. I guess I would sum it up as I try be the clown of the group ;).”

What is your favourite genre of game?

“Hmmm…that’s a tough one but I really enjoy adventure games with both action and puzzle solving. One of my favourite games of all time is Bioshock Infinite, so that should give an idea.”

What is your preferred gaming platform?

“I used to be a console player, Xbox being my preference. However I have gone to the “dark” side and really love the PC. While it isn’t as simple as plug and play, in my opinion, PC gaming gives a wider variety of games and in some cases the prices of the games are a little more reasonable.”

What is your favourite thing about gaming?

“I would say the ability to be transported into a completely different world. Also, a close second is being able to game with people from all over the world and make new friends on any given day from the comfort of my home.”

What are your current projects and what do you have planned for the future?

“The next few months to a year are going to be crazy busy but so exciting! In the next month, I am planning a 24- hour stream which will have a whole bunch of firsts for me and my stream.
I am also going to be starting a course on UX and UI design. With all that I will also be planning my wedding and honeymoon for early next year.”
