Unfortunately, no new games were unveiled, but we did learn about the Resident Evil Village story DLC “shadows of Rose” and some gameplay footage from the highly anticipated Resident Evil 4 remake which should hold the Resident Evil fans for a while.

Below are all the announcements and trailers included to whet your appetite:

Resident Evil: Shadows of Rose story DLC:

Capcom has officially announced Shadows of Rose, the long-awaited story DLC for Resident Evil Village.

The additional plot will feature Ethan Winter’s daughter Rose and will act as a sequel to the main campaign in several ways. Shadows of Rose, unlike the main game, will be played in third-person and will see Rose enter the “consciousness of the Megamycete,” a world where “time and space are warped beyond recognition.”

The new DLC will be released on the 28th of October as part of the Winters’ Expansion DLC.

This new plot is guaranteed to draw you in as you sympathize with Ethan’s daughter Rose as she uncovers mysteries about herself and her background, as shown in the teaser.

Resident Evil Village’s Mercenary mode :

This expansion will finally allow you to play as Lady Alcina Dimitrescu which a lot of fans have been asking for. Chris Redfield and Karl Heisenberg will also join Mercenaries, each with their own distinct role to play.

Resident Evil Village will also have a third-person option. The game is a first-person shooter, and this update allows it to be played in the style of Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes.

Resident Evil Village will also be playable with the upcoming PlayStation VR 2 headset, according to Capcom.

The Winters’ Expansion DLC bundle will include all of this material, as well as a repackaged version of the original game named Resident Evil Village: Gold Edition.

Exoprimal:

Exoprimal will be a team-based action game and will be released in 2023 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series, and Xbox One. The game will feature Dinosaurs and Mecha, and the latest trailer showcases a variety of competitive co-op activities, such as assaults, defense tactics, and a resource retrieval mode.

The game centres around Leviathan, an artificial intelligence that engages in war games with humans by unleashing swarms of dinosaurs into the wild. In the main story mode, the mystery of Leviathan will be revealed.

While there are times when you must personally confront opponent players, there are also objectives that require teams to work together to fulfill. The game will alter the objectives based on the players’ performance, thus no two matches will ever be the same.
