In an interview with Aftermath, PaweĊ‚ Sasko, the associate director of the Cyberpunk sequel, shed light on the progress of both The Witcher 4 and Cyberpunk 2, revealing that The Witcher 4 is currently in intensive development.

Sasko mentioned that while some of the Cyberpunk 2077 team has transitioned to The Witcher 4, Cyberpunk 2, also known as Project Orion, is still in its early stages of production. Moreover, Sasko noted that most managers and directors from Cyberpunk 2077 and Phantom Liberty are now focused on Cyberpunk 2, highlighting the studio’s commitment to preserving the DNA of the franchise. This approach aims to maintain continuity and quality across the sequel.
