June was a hot month for game releases; especially when The Last Of Us Part 2 hit stores. PS4 owners flocked forth, wallets in hand, to be first in line as the doors to their favourite game shop opened. Reviews and streams of game-play followed only hours after. July, too, looks to be choc-full of good releases.

- Superliminal (PS4, Xbox One, Switch) – July 7- This one looks like it could be a surreal trip. An interactive first-person puzzle game said to give the mind (and eyes) quite a work out.

- Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris (PC, PS4, Xbox One) – July 10 – One for our SAO fans! The game was originally meant to be released May 22nd, but was delayed until July 10th. An exciting story, vibrant visuals and smooth looking game-play has expectations for this one sitting at the right place.

- Death Stranding (PC) – July 14 – Embark on a journey to help reconnect isolated cities and fragmented societies. Although the trailer dates the release as 2 July, the official release date has been marked for July 14th

- Maid of Sker (PC, PS4, Xbox One) – July 28 – Get ready to survive the terrors in this game inspired by Welsh folklore. Hold your breath as you sneak past sound-based enemies and collect sonic weaponry. Oh, and try not to die.
