CD Projekt Red has announced a new Live-action in development dubbed “Project Orion”.

Cyberpunk 2077’s DLC expansion Phantom Liberty has just recently been released and now in the wake of this, we have more news regarding the futuristic game.

Developer CD Projekt Red has divulged that Cyberpunk 2077 will be getting a sequel dubbed “Project Orion” at this stage, but it sounds like it is still years away.

They have revealed a partnership with Anonymous Content to produce the inaugural live-action adaptation of Cyberpunk 2077. This endeavor is in its preliminary stages and will breathe life into a fresh, original narrative within the perilous realm of Night City.

“Anonymous Content” has been behind the production of numerous acclaimed films and series in recent years. Some notable examples include True Detective, Mr. Robot, The Revenant, Spotlight, and many others.

The new project is in the early stages of production, and the quest for a screenwriter to create a fresh narrative rooted in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe has already begun.

Charlie Scully will produce alongside Garrett Kemble, David Levine, Ryan Schwartz, and Bard Dorros for Anonymous Content. The Cyberpunk 2077 creative team will closely collaborate on the project’s development. The Cyberpunk 2077 creative team will work closely with us to build the project.

CDPR initially launched Cyberpunk 2077 in 2020, receiving criticism for numerous bugs and glitches, falling short of the promised experience.
