Diablo: Immortal Gets Launch Roadmap

Diablo-Immortal-Gets-Launch-Roadmap

Activision Blizzard has released a “Roadmap To Hell” roadmap for the game ahead of its release in a few days.

Fans of the franchise are undoubtedly nervous about the new release and Activision Blizzard has taken this into consideration by releasing a “release roadmap” for the new release to ensure a smoother launch.

On the official site, Blizzard stated:

“Starting today, you can pre-load Diablo Immortal for PC from Battle.net. Heat up your PC in advance, and once Immortal fully launches on June 2, you can kick open the gate to Hell and get to demon-slaying at break-neck pace!”

It’s worth noting that players in the Asia Pacific region – specifically, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macao, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand – will have to wait a little longer to join the hellish fun; Diablo Immortal will launch on the 22nd of June in those areas. Players from Vietnam, on the other hand, will be able to join in the open beta only on PC.

Do note that this release is just an open Beta and not the full game yet, also it will be free to play but will have microtransactions.

Apparently, a single account can be used on both computers and mobile devices.

Blizzard also noted that:

“When the PC version leaves the Open Beta period, all the progress and purchases you’ve made will be maintained.”

If you’re wondering if your PC can handle the game, here are the minimum requirements:

  • Operating System: Windows® 7 / Windows® 8 / Windows® 10 / Windows® 11 (64-bit)
  • CPU: AMD FX-8100 or Intel Core i3
  • GPU: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 460, ATI Radeon™ HD 6850, or Intel® HD Graphics 530
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
Queen Assyla will feature in the new Diablo: Immortal.

The game will work with a wide range of controllers, including Xbox One controllers, Sony Dualshock, and DualSense, as well as Logitech gamepads and Nintendo Switch Pro controllers.

Also Diablo: Immortal won’t allow you to switch servers (opens in new tab) or play with other players on different servers. Diablo community head Adam Fletcher warned gamers in a tweet earlier this week to arrange with their friends and choose a server before starting the game because once you’ve chosen a server, you’ll only be able to play with others on that server.

Diablo: Immortal will take place between the events of Diablo II and Diablo III.

Fans who have been waiting for more information on the game since its initial announcement in 2018 will be delighted with any news revealed soon before its release, and if you are one of them, you can view the entire Roadmap here.
