Since its last upgrade in 2017 no major changes have happened in Google Authenticator, Until now that is.
You can now transfer accounts between devices. You will find an export/import tool that will move your account by creating a QR code you can scan on the destination device.
You can now move your work e-mail or social media accounts with ease and still have the two-factor authentication.
The new update is also more aesthetically pleasing and supports a “true dark them” if that is your thing.
