Helldivers 2 Players Must Liberate Tien Kwan To Unlock Mechs

Helldivers 2 Players Triumph In Unleashing Mechs After Intense Campaign

Arrowhead Studio Introduces New In-Game Challenge to Bring Mechs to Helldivers 2

Helldivers 2 players are eagerly awaiting the arrival of mechs to the game, but there’s a catch—Tien Kwan must first be liberated from the Automatons.

Arrowhead Game Studio, the developers behind Helldivers 2, have been teasing the introduction of mechs for some time now. Leaked footage has given players glimpses of these powerful machines, heightening anticipation. However, in a recent X post, Arrowhead introduced a new twist to the awaited update: players must “liberate Tien Kwan” before mechs can be unlocked.

The urgency is palpable in Arrowhead’s tweets, with calls to action for all Helldivers to join the effort in liberating Tien Kwan. The in-game message reveals that the Automatons have seized control of Tien Kwan, the planet where mechs are manufactured. To regain access to these coveted machines, players must rally together and reclaim the planet from enemy forces.

Notably, failure to liberate Tien Kwan before the deadline—Sunday, March 10th—may result in a delay in the release of mechs. This added incentive has spurred players into action, determined to secure the new tech as soon as possible. However, Arrowhead also announced the upcoming launch of the “Cutting Edge” Warbond on March 14th, suggesting that the window for unlocking mechs may not extend beyond this date.

The Cutting Edge Warbond promises a wealth of new content, including prototype armor items, electrifying weapons, and cosmetic capes. With so much on the horizon, players are motivated to rise to the challenge and ensure the timely liberation of Tien Kwan.

Helldivers 2 is currently available on PlayStation 5 and PC, offering players an exhilarating co-op experience in a futuristic universe.
