Hollow Knight: Silksong was revealed to the world in 2019 and Team Cherry has been quite hush-hush about the development process so far.
During the Xbox and Bethesda Game’s showcase in 2022, gameplay footage was revealed along with a general timeframe for release, and the exciting announcement that the game would be available on Xbox Game Pass from the first day.
Sony later confirmed that Silksong would also be playable on PlayStation consoles.
The official steamstore overview states:

Once it finally arrives, Hollow Knight: Silksong is set to launch on multiple platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. Additionally, the game will be accessible on Game Pass right from its initial release.
