The latest game from the developers of Genshin Impact has its final Beta coming out soon.
Genshin Impact HoYoverse’s studio has announced Honkai: Star Rail’s final beta.
Sign-ups for the Beta are live now and if you are one of the lucky few chosen, you will be able to enjoy the latest build from the 10th of February on PC, iOS, and Android.
The game was originally announced in October of 2021. It has been described by associate editor Tyler Colp as: “anime Mass Effect,” with thematic and potential direct ties to Honkai Impact 3rd.
Honkai: Star Rail is the fourth installment in the series and uses new characters as well as alternate versions of existing characters from Honkai Impact 3rd.
In Honkai: Star Rail, players control a team of up to four characters. Turn-based strategic combat is combined with elements of open-world exploration and dungeon exploration.
Colp went on to say:
“Unlike Genshin, Honkai: Star Rail isn’t really open world. There are big cities and sections of planets to explore, but you don’t pick up berries and activate towers to reveal a massive world map. Instead, the game’s focus is on its turn-based combat. You and the robotic enemies you’re up against throw elemental abilities back and forth and try to exploit each other’s weaknesses. It’s kind of like Pokémon, but the Pokémon have white hair and catchphrases. Every character has an ultimate ability that comes with completely ridiculous short animations that, frankly, rule.”
The beta will showcase new characters, areas to explore, and in-game features. The story starting in the Herta space station and expanding out to Jarilo-VI and Xianzhou Luofu.
Both of these areas have their own culture and scenery, and factions that control them. With plenty of opportunities to make your mark in the galaxy’s wild frontiers.

The release date for Honkai: Star Rail hasn’t officially been set yet. But we do know that this will be the final Beta test for the game.
As such it is probably in your best interest to sign up for the Beta as soon as you can to avoid missing out.
