MachineGames has provided a sneak peek into the much-anticipated Xbox title, now officially named “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.” While no specific release date has been disclosed, the developers have assured fans that the game will hit screens before the end of the year.

During the recent Xbox Developer Direct, gamers were treated to the inaugural gameplay reveal of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. The footage offered glimpses of the game’s villain, showcased Indy’s new adventure blending first- and third-person gameplay, and put an end to speculations by confirming the inclusion of Harrison Ford’s likeness. However, the vocal performance is delivered by Troy Baker, known for his roles in Uncharted 4 and The Last of Us.

In an extensive developer diary, MachineGames emphasized the significance of intricate puzzles, stealth mechanics, and the iconic whip in Indy’s arsenal. The narrative will take players on a globetrotting journey to locations like Thailand, Egypt, India, and more, presenting a fresh adventure set between the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade, coinciding with the period of Temple of Doom.

The comprehensive presentation, lasting over 10 minutes, provides a deep dive into the game’s features, starting in the video at the 1:03:20 timestamp. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is slated to launch on Xbox and PC platforms, including Game Pass, later in 2024.
