Embark on Lego Adventures with Raft Survival and Obby Fun
Fortnite players can now explore exciting new game modes with the introduction of Lego Raft Survival and Lego Obby Fun. These free experiences, available within the online game, mark the beginning of a series of Lego-themed adventures planned for the year.
Dubbed the Lego Islands, these new modes are crafted using the Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN). In Lego Raft Survival, players dive into a Lego Pirates-themed adventure, collaborating with others in multiplayer to confront the notorious Blackbeard while navigating treacherous waters on a makeshift raft. Players must gather resources to expand their raft and fend off cannon attacks.
For those seeking a test of agility and skill, Lego Obby Fun offers the first official Lego-themed obstacle course in Fortnite. Designed by Lego designers, the course features over 300 levels of platform challenges. Up to nine players can join forces to conquer these intricate obstacles and race to the finish line.
Players are randomly spawned on a segment of a course inspired by popular Lego themes, such as Lego Friends, Lego City, Lego Ninjago, and Lego DreamZzz, and “the experience offers a different challenge each time to put their skills to the test, either solo or with friends.”
While the Lego collaboration unfolds, Fortnite enthusiasts have other events to anticipate. The recent addition of Lady Gaga as a Fortnite character in Fortnite Festival Season 2 has garnered attention. Additionally, the Rocket Racing mode received a significant update in the lead-up to Chapter 5 Season 2. Leaks hint at an upcoming crossover event with Avatar: The Last Airbender, adding to the excitement surrounding Fortnite’s evolving landscape.
