Microsoft Confirms Visions Of Mana Exclusion From Game Pass Lineup

Square Enix’s RPG won’t join Xbox Game Pass immediately, clarifies Microsoft

Microsoft has officially debunked speculations about Square Enix’s RPG, Visions of Mana, joining Xbox Game Pass upon release. The game had surprised viewers during the Xbox Developer Direct event, sparking anticipation for its immediate availability on the subscription service. However, a spokesperson from Microsoft clarified to Eurogamer that any mention of Visions of Mana on Xbox.com suggesting Game Pass inclusion was a mistake.

The spokesperson stated, “We’re aware that Xbox.com included language that indicated Visions of Mana was coming to Xbox Game Pass and can confirm this was an error.

While we are always updating the library and looking for new ways to provide members with value and choice, we do not have plans to bring Visions of Mana to Game Pass at this time.”

While the statement leaves the door open for potential future inclusion, there is currently no indication that Visions of Mana will be part of the Xbox Game Pass lineup upon its launch. The game is scheduled for release in Summer 2024 on PlayStation and Xbox consoles, along with a PC release.
