There is Good news in the world of Mortal Kombat 11 as this bloodthirsty game is getting an expansion. There will be an extension in the storyline as well as three new playable characters which includes none other than Robocop himself.
Robocop’s character will boast Peter Weller’s voice and likeness.
In a preview with eurogamer, Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon called Robocop’s addition to the game “kind of like the bookend to the Terminator with the 80s action movie stars”.
This new expansion is called aftermath and Is due to come out on the 26th of May for all versions of the game.
Aftermath will pick up after the end of Mortal Kombat 11, where Lui Knag has destroyed Kronika and is about to architect a new history. At the last second sorcerer Shang Tsung turned up with Fujin and Nightwolf to claim their actions will “doom us all”. By killing Kronika, Lui Kang has destroyed her crown, but he needs this crown to restart history will follow will be an unlikely alliance between Shang Tsung and the good guys as they will head into the past to steal the crown from the sorcerer’s island before the hourglass shatters.

The three new playable characters will be the wind god Fuijn, Sheeva (the half human, half dragon queen of the Shokan) and Robocop.
Robocop will have with him his trusty Auto 9 pistol, a flamethrower, a riot shield and a shoulder cannon he can load with various types of ammunition.
Aftermath will also have three new character skin packs that will be released over time.
There’s a Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Collection, which includes all characters, story content, game modes and preorder bonuses in one package.
All preorders get the Eternal Klash Skin Pack at launch, featuring three new character skins. These are “Unbound rage”, “son of Arctika” “Kori power”.
