While the release date for the Evangelion collaboration has not been specified, it is expected to take place in the first half of 2024. Hotta Studio has not disclosed the exact requirements for obtaining the characters or the progression needed to access the Evangelion plotline. In the meantime, the game’s 1.5-anniversary celebration will include a new story chapter and introduce Plotti, a programming-savvy Simulacrum, with various activities, rewards, and exclusive items arriving in the 3.6 update on January 30.
“Tower of Fantasy” gained attention for its anime-style MMORPG gameplay, drawing comparisons to Genshin Impact. Despite similarities in real-time action and progression systems, the game distinguishes itself with a more MMO-oriented approach. This collaboration marks Tower of Fantasy’s first venture into partnering with another series, a common practice in mobile RPGs, potentially hinting at future collaborations if the current one proves successful.
The MMORPG is available on various platforms, including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android.
