Bungie has announced that Destiny 2 will collaborate with The Witcher 3 developer CD Projekt Red on a new Geralt-inspired crossover event
Destiny 2 is constantly evolving, with Season of the Wish and the upcoming The Final Shape expansion. Bungie also releases fun content between these larger updates, such as cosmetic crossovers and smaller patches. The behemoth developer has just announced a new collaboration event with CD Projekt Red that brings The Witcher 3 to Destiny 2, and it includes some stunning Geralt-inspired content. This crossover will be available sooner than you think, along with an unmissable sale.
Bungie’s Destiny 2 is one of the most unique experiences in the space game genre, combining a multiplayer shooter with RPG elements. The lore is extensive, with new expansions and updates constantly fleshing out the game’s story. If you enjoy good in-game fashion, you’ll probably enjoy Destiny’s ever-changing sci-fi cosmetics. There are often themed additions to enjoy with frequent collaboration events, such as this year’s Among Us crossover.
The game’s latest crossover features some of the most visually appealing content yet, with Geralt-inspired cosmetics plucked straight from The Witcher 3’s fantastical world. “Guardians can style themselves as monster slayers with new cosmetics inspired by Geralt of Rivia,” Bungie says of the new collaboration. According to the developer, the event includes “armor ornaments, a Ghost shell, ship, Sparrow, emote, and finisher.”
The Witcher 3 collaboration will be released on Tuesday, November 28, just in time for the Destiny 2 Season of the Wish release date. The crossover coincides with Bungie’s massive Savathun’s Spire of Savings sale, which begins on Friday, November 24, and runs until Friday, December 1.
