New Realistic Peripherals For Flight Simulator

New-Realistic-Peripherals-For-Flight-Simulator-2

Boeing and Thrustmaster are offering new hyper-realistic peripherals for Flight Simulator fans.

These new peripherals are intended to replicate the experience of piloting a Boeing 787 Dreamliner as closely as feasible.

Thrustmaster and Boeing have collaborated to create a new line of sim gear that is meant to recreate the real thing as closely as possible and the specs are impressive.

The thrustmaster TCA throttle quadrant

They have fully revealed the TCA Yoke Pack Boeing Edition after the partial reveal of the product in September at the FlightSimExpo 2021.

The Airbus A320-inspired setup kicked off this super realistic series in Thrustmaster’s Civil Aviation range last year. This series included throttle and “stick” controls that mimic real flight in your own home.

Airbus A320-inspired controls

Thrustmaster’s first yoke system is one of the most important products in the series as it was designed to feel just like a yoke in the Boeing Dreamliner. It’s a 1.1-scale replica with all-metal internals and a pendular system that mimics an actual Boeing at any standard desk.

The official site describes the TCA Yoke Pack Boeing Edition as feeling “like a dream” and explains that this yoke pack is “officially licensed by both Boeing and Xbox, for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S and is also compatible with PC.”

The setup fits on any standard desk.

Its design is based on the Boeing 787, which can be flown in Microsoft Flight Simulator right now, and its layout is ideal for PMDG’s future 737. Of course, if you’re into older Sims, it’ll work on those as well.

The throttle portion of the controls is also designed closely on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and boasts progressive resistance that feels like it does on a real aircraft. You can also combine two TCA Quadrant units together for 6-axis piloting, or you can use it in conjunction with other Thrustmaster Pedals.

Official Trailer for the TCA Boeing Edition:

Pre-orders are now open for both the bundle with the yoke and throttle quadrant and the quadrant alone. They’ll arrive in December, just in time for the holiday season. The yoke on its own will be delivered separately at a later time.

The Yoke has an innovative spring system .
