June’s recent Nintendo Direct Mini focused on Third-Party developers and many games and other announcements were brought to light.

Nintendo’s Direct Mini showcase for June wrapped up yesterday the 28th and brought with it a lot of information to take in including many new games to get excited about.

News regarding new games that would be released in the following year was featured in the 25-minute broadcast.

As many of you already know Monster Hunter Rise is getting an expansion and more details about this expansion dubbed “Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak came to light as well as many games we hadn’t heard about yet.

Below are the games announced and more information about them:

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak:

As we have already teased you about this expansion we should probably start here. In the showcase new monsters, locales and combat were shown off as well as a roadmap and new trailer for the game. There will be a new master Rank difficulty added to make things interesting as well. The game’s release date is set for the 30th of June.

Nier Automata: The End Of Yorha Edition:

The game will be making its debut on Nintendo Switch on the 6th of October this year and will include new costumes, previously unreleased modes, and other content as well as all previously unreleased DLC. The game is currently available for Pre-order.

Lorelei And The Laser Eyes:

Lorelai and the lazer eyes is a surreal puzzle mystery game going back to the golden era of detective mystery novels. The game will hit Nintendo Switch first in 2023.

Super Bomberman R 2:

A new Bomberman game is coming to Switch where Teams of up to 15 players can blast their way to a treasure chest in the new Castle Mode, with one player serving as a defense to attempt to stop them. Additionally, custom battle stages can be made and shared. Super Bomberman R 2 will be released for Nintendo Switch in 2023.

Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection:

Ten Mega Man Battle Network titles from the Game Boy Advance that will be available on the Nintendo Switch in 2023 are included in this compilation. Additionally, the games come with 150 songs and 1,000 illustrations.

Pac-Man World Re-Pac:

This will be a remastered version of the original Pac-Man world and will make its way to Nintendo Switch on the 26th of August this year.

Blanc:

This game is a buddy adventure game from Gearbox publishing starring a wolf cub and a fawn. The game is textless and comes with puzzles and online Co-Op. It will be exclusive to Nintendo Switch and is set to be released in 2023.

Return To Monkey Island:

The game will add on to the story from The Secret Of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge. The game will be coming to Nintendo Switch first and has a release window of this year sometime.

Mario + Rabbids: Sparks Of Hope:

The game will be a sequel to Mario +Rabbids Kingdom battle and will be getting its own showcase today at noon ET. The game will be released on the 20th of October with pre-orders being open already.

Little Noah: Scion Of Paradise:

“Noah, an alchemical prodigy, is journeying across the skies in her airship when she discovers mysterious floating ruins. As she draws closer to investigate, a cat leaps on board. The cat accuses Noah of being a tomb raider and unleashes a storm that sends her vessel crashing down. In need of parts to repair her ship and driven by curiosity, Noah enters the ruins…”.The game came out on Tuesday for Nintendo Switch.

Railgrade:

Railgrade is a strategy train game where you get to manage rail systems and build better ones that can best transport cargo and keep the economy running smoothly.

The release date has been set for “fall” this year.

RPG Time: The Legend Of Wright:

In this game, you join protagonist Kenta as he draws, erases, and makes calculations to create his own RPG. The game will be released on the 18th of August but preorders are open already.

Sonic Frontiers:

The game sees you play as Sonic speeding across vast open worlds in his usual fashion. Nintendo gave fans a peek into new cyberspace levels that resemble the traditional 3d Sonic games with open-zone gameplay. The release date was stated as “this coming holiday season”.

Disney Dreamlight Valley:

This life simulator game will bring all your favourite Disney characters into one world. The game will enter early access on the 6th of September this year.

Live A Live:

With a new HD-2D appearance, the cult RPG is coming to the Nintendo Switch.  A Demo has been released already but the full game will be available on the 22nd of July and if you buy the game after playing the Demo your progress will automatically be transferred over.

Doraemon story of seasons: Friends of the great kingdom:

In a brand-new game featuring the well-known Japanese mascot Doraemon, players can harvest crops, take care of animals, and use Doraemon’s secret gadgets. In the Doraemon life-sim that will be available on Switch in 2022, hang out with your buddies and create your own ranch.

Minecraft Legends:

The game will be an action-strategy spinoff where you get to control a hero and team up with allies while roaming the Minecraft world which is being invaded by monsters. Minecraft Legends will be released for the Nintendo Switch in 2023.

Dragon Quest Treasures:

In this game, you get to play as Erik and Mia who can team up with monsters and use their treasure tracker to find buried loot. The game will be released for Nintendo Switch on the 9th of December this year.

Portal Companion Collection:

The critically acclaimed series has come to Nintendo Switch. In order to escape the perverse Aperture Labs and its AI overlord GLaDOS, you get to use your trusty Portal gun to tackle clever environmental puzzles.

Harvestella:

Harvestella is a life-simulation game about fighting, farming, and forging friendships across four seasons before descending into a mysterious fifth season ….of death.

The game is set to be released on the 4th of November.

Persona:

Persona 5 Royal, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 3 Portable are finally coming to the Nintendo Switch. Atlus revealed that Persona 5 Royal would be arriving on Switch on the 21st of October and that Persona 4 Golden and P3P will follow soon after the announcement that the well-known JRPGs are coming to Xbox and PC.

The voice acting in all three games will be in both English and Japanese, and they will all be in high HD. However, keep in mind that each game will be sold separately.

Captain Velvet Meteor: The Jump + Dimensions:

Play the part of a young boy who just arrived in Japan and has no friends. Damien decides to embody his fantasies as Captain Velvet Meteor, a superhero who partners up with his favourite manga characters to help people escape a mysterious world. The game comes to Nintendo Switch on the 28th of July.

There you have it folks all the new games coming to Switch in the future and some have already arrived.

With so many new Nintendo Switch games offering fans of many genres something to enjoy, this should keep fans entertained for a while to come.
