In response to community feedback, Palworld, often dubbed “Pokemon with guns,” has rolled out a stability-focused update for its Xbox and Microsoft Store PC versions, bringing them to v0.1.1.2. The official Palworld X account announced that the patch aims to address issues impacting game stability, with a specific focus on fixing major concerns. This move aligns with the game’s ongoing development, marked by its presence in Early Access on Steam and Game Preview on Xbox.

Developer Pocketpair, indicating that Palworld is approximately 60% complete, underscores their commitment to resolving significant bugs to enhance the player experience. While stability improvements take precedence in this update, the roadmap for Palworld’s future includes plans for PvP, raid bosses, and the introduction of Steam-Xbox cross-play. Players can also anticipate new islands and additional Pals (in-game creatures) as part of the evolving content.

Palworld has achieved remarkable success, boasting over 8 million copies sold within two weeks of its launch. Notably, it has surpassed 2 million concurrent players on Steam, a milestone achieved by only a select few games. The game’s popularity extends to home consoles, with Palworld surpassing Fortnite in the US for daily active users on Xbox, affirming its strong performance across various platforms.
