Plan B Terraform Everything We Know So Far

Plan-B-Terraform-Everything-We-Know-So-Far

In this upcoming terraforming simulation game, you can create your very own planet.

Plan B: Terraform being developed by Gaddy Games is set to be fully released on the 15th of February.

The game is already making waves for fans of the genre as it gives players an opportunity to terraform and create their own lush world.

The official Steam overview for the game states:

“Manage the resources of a newly discovered planet. Bring supplies to the cities and manage its terraformation.
Plan B: Terraform is a calm and contemplative science-fiction game based on a credible near future. It also offers an educational approach to greenhouse effects and water cycle mechanisms.
Earth has a very hard time limiting global warming and its catastrophic consequences. Humanity needs a plan B in order to ensure its survival. This is up to you!”

Mine the available area to extract much needed minerals for terraforming.

Players are able to extract minerals, change them and take them to the cities. Develop terraforming devices, such as greenhouse gas factories, to gradually warm the atmosphere so that the ice melts and rain falls, forming rivers and oceans.

Planting trees and watching them grow into tall forests is possible when the conditions are met.

A few of the game’s features include:

  • An enormous hexagonal playground on a planetary scale.
  • “Real” terraforming of a planet, including temperature, vegetation, rain, and water flowing in real-time to form rivers and oceans.
  • A radical increase in population, from a few to millions.

There is already a demo out for Plan B: Terraform that lets players see what can be done when creating a planet from the ground up.

Build and create your very own settlements in Plan B: Terraform.
