PlatinumGames is actively supporting voice actor Jennifer Hale
Bayonetta 3 developer PlatinumGames has pledged its support for Jennifer Hale, who will replace Hellena Taylor as Bayonetta’s voice in the upcoming game.
If you have been following the unfolding story you will know that there was an uproar in the gaming community recently. Hellena Taylor, who was once Bayonetta’s voice, caused this uproar.
Taylor recently voiced the fact that she was only offered a small amount for the upcoming Bayonetta 3 and that this was “insulting” to her and other voice actors.
Reports then came in from various sources that she was in fact offered a lot more than she disclosed and that her account was false. She then vehemently denied this sticking wholeheartedly to her story.
As a result of Taylor’s report, PlatinumGames has finally released an official statement defending its position.

Jeniffer Hale herself had this to say about the situation:
“Anyone who knows me or has followed my career, will know that I have great respect for my peers and that I am an advocate for all members of the community. I am under an NDA and am not at liberty to speak regarding this situation. My reputation speaks for itself”
You would have seen Taylor’s passionate plea to boycott the game when she talked about the developer’s low offer in her Twitter videos. PlatinumGames have accused Taylor Of lying. Due to both sides’ compelling arguments, it is difficult to decide who to believe in this story.
The release date for Bayonetta 3 is the 28th of October. However, given the controversy surrounding the voice actress, will the game actually be published on time?
