Players Demand Cyberpunk 2077 Update Roadmap

Cyberpunk 2077 has been a disappointment to some fans with a lot of bugs cropping up, they are now asking for full transparency from CD Projekt Red regarding updates.

Cyberpunk 2077 has been the most anticipated game of 2020. With fans being repeatedly disappointed by delays, one can see why fans would be on edge when the game was finally released on the 10th of December.

Now that the game is out and many fans have gotten their hands on it and begun their play throughs, numerous small bugs have come to light, which has just added to their unrest.

The PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game performed so badly that its developer CD Projekt Red is issuing a refund for anyone disappointed in how it turned out (albeit without Sony and Microsoft’s knowledge beforehand).

The whole debacle was made worse by allegations that CDPR has misled fans purposefully by making it seem that Cyberpunk 2077 was in a better condition than it was at launch.

Some say these bugs are so bad that they should have delayed the game further to fix these issues before they sent the game out into the world.

Players Demand Cyberpunk 2077 Update Roadmap

CD Projekt Red has told fans that updates are coming, but fans are not satisfied with this, it seems they want to see a detailed rundown of the updates and when they will be available.

This all came to light on a Reddit thread from user Concussed88 asking for a full Roadmap of CD Projekt Reds plans to improve Cyberpunk 2077, with over a thousand people responding to the thread. It seems they all want three things from CD Projekt Red.

  • Which patches will be coming first?
  • What content will be getting a revamp?
  • What bugs will be getting addressed?

The thread didn’t ask for a deadline, they simply want to know what CD Projekt Red’s priorities are and in what order they plan to fix things.

While all of this has cast somewhat of a shadow over the game’s release, Players are loving the futuristic sci-fi setting and immersive storyline, the sim-like combat, and being able to play alongside Keanu Reeves of course.

Fans of this much-anticipated title have taken more than a few knocks for the game, and it would seem the prudent thing for CD Projekt Red to do would be to be open and honest with fans regarding their plans to fix or alter the game in any way. After all, that’s all the Reddit post actually asked for.
