Here are the games that you can get for being a PS Now subscriber.
It’s January and a new year has graced us with its presence and given us hope for an exciting new year, and for those of you who are PS Now subscribers you will have three new free games to choose from.
All three games on offer this month are great games with some Third-person ARPG action in Horizon Zero Dawn and some kick-ass female treasure hunting action in Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, and lastly a little casual Co-Op with Overcooked 2.
Below are the games in all their glory so you can make an informed decision or just choose all of them because after all the best things in life are free.
Horizon Zero Dawn:
You play as Aloy, a young hunter in a world overrun by machines, who sets out to uncover her past. The player uses ranged weapons, a spear, and stealth to combat mechanical creatures and other enemy forces.
A skill tree provides the player with new abilities and bonuses. The player can explore the open world to discover locations and take on side quests.
Aloy wears a Focus, a small head piece that scans machines to determine their susceptibilities, identify their location, their level, and the nature of loot they will drop.
One machine, the Stalker, can enable cloaking technology to avert the gaze of Aloy’s Focus scan. Machines attack with defensive and offensive measures, and in either case, react to a perceived threat by charging at it with brute force or projectiles.
Exhibiting the behaviour of wild animals, some machines are inclined to move in herds, and others, with the ability to fly, do so in flocks.
Unless hacked with the Override Tool, or sufficiently hit with corruption arrows, machines do not exert aggressive force against each other. Aloy also engages in battle with human enemies, such as bandits and the Eclipse cult.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy:
It is a standalone expansion to Uncharted 4, and the first Uncharted game not to feature protagonist Nathan Drake.
Players instead control treasure hunter and Nathan’s old friend, former love interest and associate Chloe Frazer, who seeks the Tusk of Ganesh in the Western Ghats mountain ranges of India in the midst of a civil war.
with the help of ex-mercenary Nadine Ross and Nathan’s brother Samuel Drake all the while coming into conflict with Asav, a ruthless warlord and his army of insurgents.
Like other Uncharted games, Lost Legacy is played from a third-person perspective; players use firearms and can use melee combat and stealth to defend against enemies. Players solve puzzles, incorporating several platformer elements to advance the narrative, and navigate the game world on foot or by vehicle.
Overcooked! 2:
Overcooked returns with a brand-new helping of chaotic cooking action! Journey back to the Onion Kingdom and assemble your team of chefs in classic couch co-op or online play for up to four players. Hold onto your aprons … it’s time to save the world (again!)
Out of the frying pan, into the fire…
You’ve saved the world from the Ever Peckish. Now a new threat has arisen and it’s time to get back in the kitchen to stave off the hunger of The Unbread! You’ll knead to work together (or against each other) to get the highest score in chaotic local and online multiplayer.
Journey across a brand new overworld map by land, sea, and air. Get cooking in new themes ranging from sushi restaurants, magic schools, mines, and even alien planets! Travel the land cooking up a range of new recipes that are sure to cater to any tastes, including sushi, cakes, burgers, and pizzas.
Travel through teleporters, across moving platforms, and save time by throwing ingredients across dynamic kitchens that shift and evolve. Some kitchens even whisk your chefs away to new locations.
There you have it, ladies and gentlemen! It is never too late to become a PS Now member, and as you can see, the benefits more than make it worth it!
