It’s October and Halloween has arrived bring with it the newest installment of PlayStation Now games on offer for subscribers to indulge in like your favourite Halloween candy.

This month there are five titles on offer for subscribers to pick and choose from or take all of them. We start with some Post-Apocalyptic action in Days Gone, some hack and slash adventure in MediEvil. For those classic horror fans, there is always Friday the 13th. If puzzles platformers are more your thing you could indulge in some Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince. Last but not least we have some challenging Roguelike action in RAD.

RAD (6th of October):

RAD is a 3D action rogue-like set in a post-post-apocalyptic world, where humanity has faced armageddon not once, but twice. Playing as a teenage protagonist, you must venture into the Fallow — an ever-changing, radioactive wasteland filled with unknown and unspeakable creatures.

But humanity’s future comes at great personal cost, as the deeper you journey into unknown lands, the more you will expose yourself to gnarly toxins which will wreak havoc on your fragile human form.

The fate of the world depends on you, your trusty bat, and whatever strange new abilities you gain as the world around you ravages your body — twisting and mutating you into something far less than human, but far more powerful. But forget all that — go grab that sweet bat and help save the world…or what’s remaining of it anyway!

Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince (6th of October):

The Trine series returns to the magic of 2.5D with Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince! The three heroes of the best-selling adventure series are back, sent on a quest to retrieve the troubled young Prince Selius. Amadeus the Wizard, Pontius the Knight, and Zoya the Thief are joined together once again on a thrilling quest through fantastical fairytale landscapes teeming with danger.

Prince Selius suffers from intensely dark dreams and, due to his magical talents, monstrous nightmares are able to slip into reality and wreak havoc on the waking world. Amadeus, Pontius, and Zoya must find the afflicted prince and resolve the desperate situation before the world is engulfed by the Nightmare Prince’s shadows. Trine 4 reaches new heights in the series, bringing the most complete gameplay experience ever to fans and new players alike!

Friday the 13th: The Game will strive to give every single player the tools to survive, escape or even try to take down the man who cannot be killed. Each and every gameplay session will give you an entirely new chance to prove if you have what it takes not only to survive but to best the most prolific killer in cinema history, a slasher with more kills than any of his rivals!

Medievil (6th of October):

The game is set in the medieval Kingdom of Gallowmere and centres around the charlatan protagonist, Sir Daniel Fortesque, as he makes an attempt to stop antagonist Zarok’s invasion of the kingdom whilst simultaneously redeeming himself.

Days Gone (6th of October to the 4th of January 2021):

Days Gone is an open-world action-adventure game set in a harsh wilderness two years after a devastating global pandemic.

Step into the dirt flecked shoes of former outlaw biker Deacon St. John, a bounty hunter trying to find a reason to live in a land surrounded by death. Scavenge through abandoned settlements for equipment to craft valuable items and weapons, or take your chances with other survivors trying to eke out a living through fair trade… or more violent means.
