New year new games for PlayStation Plus subscribers, and to kick this new year off, we have three real bangers from PlayStation Plus. Get ready for Action-Adventure, even more Action, and even some shark infested water fun (for those who own a PS5).

Shadow of the Tomb Raider PS4 (5th of January to the 1st of February ):
Set shortly after the events of Rise of the Tomb Raider, its story follows Lara Croft as she ventures through the tropical regions of the Americas to the legendary city Paititi, battling the paramilitary organization Trinity and racing to stop a Mayan apocalypse she has unleashed.
Lara must traverse the environment and combat enemies with firearms and stealth as she explores semi-open hubs. In these hubs, she can raid challenge tombs to unlock new rewards, complete side missions, and scavenge for resources that can be used to craft useful materials.
Greedfall PS4 ( 5th of January to the 1st of February):

Maneater PS5 ( 5th of January to the 1st of February):
Experience the ultimate power fantasy as the apex predator of the seas – a terrifying SHARK! Maneater is a single player, open world action RPG (ShaRkPG) where YOU are the shark. Starting as a small shark pup you are tasked with surviving the harsh world while eating your way up the ecosystem.
To do this you will explore a large and varied open world encountering diverse enemies – both human and wildlife. Find the right resources and you can grow and evolve far beyond what nature intended, allowing the player to tailor the shark to their play style.
This is fortunate because to get revenge on the cruel fisherman that dismembered you will take evolving into a massive shark, an apex predator of legends. Eat. Explore. Evolve.
