The File Sizes of the PS5 Versions of Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Demon Souls have been revealed and they are hefty enough to take up 20% of your PS5’s SSD.

File sizes have been a hot topic of late as the latest games are taking up more and more space in our Hard drives.

It seems this won’t change when the new Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Demon’s Souls, come out as their file sizes were revealed on the PlayStation Direct Website recently.

When Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Launch Edition releases it will require at least 50GB of space. If you purchase the Ultimate Launch Edition you will need at least 105GB of space free as it will also include a remastered version of 2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man.

If you are planning on getting your hands on the next-gen exclusive Demon Souls, you will require 66GB of available space. Demon Souls will be sizeable taking up to 30 to 80- hours to beat depending on how much content you wish to see, and it will be incredible to behold on PS5, but 66GB is a little excessive as far as file sizes go and it makes one wonder how big the other upcoming PS5 games like GTA 6 and Cyberpunk 2077 will be.

If you were planning on purchasing both Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Launch Edition and Demon’s Souls digitally, you will need 171 GB of storage.

The PS5 digital-only and the disc playing variant both have 825GB solid-state drives, which will be less than the PS4 Pro which has a 1TB SSD. These two versions of the PS5 are currently available for preorder, but with patience and some luck as the preorder process had a chaotic turn over the weekend. This happened due to Sony running out of consoles, which Sony has since apologized for and has said it would soon release more PS5s to retailers for preorder.

The PlayStation 5 will officially be released on the 12th of November this year and some other big games launching with it will be Astro’s Playroom, Destruction All-Stars, Fortnite, Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition, Godfall, and Sackboy: A big Adventure, among others.

As for the file sizes of these games at launch, we will inform you as the news hits, and presumably, they will take up just as much if not more space on your new PS5’s SSD.
