Razer Producing Masks To Curb Spread Of Coronavirus

Gaming merchandise giant Razer has made the decision to manufacture and distribute surgical masks to health authorities globally in order to curb the spread of Coronavirus. They are aiming to donate up to a million such masks.

Thus far Coronavirus has infected 245,881 people and killed 10,047 people globally with infection spreading rapidly each day. As the virus spreads and demand for masks becomes greater you will now pay up to six times more for a mask than ever before.

Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan says they have been in touch with Singapore authorities to start shipments. Tan says this step is “the first step of many” that Razer will take to help combat this pandemic. To have a look at Tan’s tweets click here.

TV manufacturer Sharp has also said that it will produce and distribute masks to help alleviate the shortage.

All in all, it seems many companies are doing what they can to help in this global crisis.

It is so heartwarming to see the human race standing together in this trying time.
