“don’t count” on Arthur Morgan’s involvement…

The actor who plays Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption has given fans a glimmer of hope by saying that a third game could be in the works one day – just don’t expect his character to be involved.

Roger Clark, best known for his role as Arthur Morgan in the Red Dead Redemption games, responded to a fan on December 5 and shared his own theory about a new game in the Western RPG series. When asked about the possibility of a Red Dead Redemption 3 sequel, the actor stated, “I’m certain we will see RDR3 one day. When that will be – I have absolutely no idea.”

The only issue with this prediction is that Clark believes Morgan will not appear in the rumoured sequel: “Don’t count on Arthur’s involvement either. His story has been told, I feel.”

Before you start looking for cowboy hats and boots, keep in mind that Red Dead Redemption 3 has yet to be officially announced (at the time of writing). Clark, despite being a key member of the cast, is not confirming the existence of a game; rather, he is sharing his own theory about the series’ future.

The last Red Dead Redemption game was released five years ago, but that doesn’t necessarily mean developer Rockstar is done with the series – the studio is probably just a little preoccupied with GTA 6.

We got the Red Dead Redemption Switch and PS4 “conversion” earlier this year, which brought the two RPGs to the Nintendo and Sony systems – but not the PlayStation generation fans were hoping for. This indicates that Rockstar is eager to provide more Red Dead Redemption content to players, despite the fact that it “killed” Red Dead Online last year.
