Preorders for Starfield, one of the most anticipated sci-fi games of the year, have officially opened.
As the highly anticipated release date of Starfield for Xbox and PC on September 6th draws near, the long-awaited preorders are finally being unveiled.
Preorders became available on both Xbox Series X and PC immediately following the Games Showcase.
With three distinct versions of the game available for pre-order, opting for the basic standard edition may result in missing out on additional content.
The pre-order bonuses will give you the Deep Mining PACK, Deep Mining Helmet, and Laser cutter with any of the editions available.

Starfield standard edition:
Standard editions of Starfield include the base game and any preorder bonuses that are eligible. Unless you’re a paying Game Pass member, in which case it’s included with your membership, this is also the cheapest way to get the title.

- Shattered Space Story Expansion (upon release)

Starfield Premium Upgrade Edition:
There is no base game included in the premium upgrade edition. If you purchase it from a brick-and-mortar retailer, you will also get the Premium Edition in-game goodies and a couple of physical collectibles.

With the physical edition, you’ll also get a steel book display case and a Constellation patch. You’ll also need the base game, but if you don’t want to purchase the expensive Constellation edition, this is a great alternative.
For Game Pass subscribers, the Premium Upgrade Edition presents an excellent choice, providing various bonuses for a mere $35 and allowing them to experience the game without the need for a separate purchase.
The game will be available for Xbox and PC.
With its initial announcement dating back to 2018, Starfield stands as one of the most highly anticipated games of the year.
