Game Pass Subscriptions has set a new record for the highest new game pass subscription in a single day thanks to Starfield
An Earnings Call was hosted with CEO Satya Nadella from Microsoft where he shared some news. The news that was shared related to Xbox’s biggest launches of 2023. Nadella went on and stated that Starfield’s launch generated their highest single day of new user subscription to Xbox Game Pass in their history of the service.
Xbox Game Pass has been out for several years now, so this is truly an impressive feat.
It shouldn’t be surprising since Starfield has outperformed both Mortal Kombat 1 and EA’s Sports F 24 in September. In September across all platforms, thousands of units were sold. Starfield reached over ten million copies sold within its first few weeks since launch. From Bethesda’s side, this makes Starfield their biggest and most successful release in their studio’s entire history.
