Gamers For Charities in conjunction with CANSA are going live for 24hrs!
If you love to watch Twitch streams and want to support charity at the same time, this upcoming event is for you.
“Streamers For CANSA” is an upcoming 24-hour stream featuring many of your favorite local streamers who are also helping to raise money for kids with cancer.
This team of passionate gamers has taken it upon themselves to use their talents to raise funds for those little warriors fighting Cancer on a daily basis in the hopes that their support and yours will change these little lives for the better.
We caught up with one of the organizers of “Streamers For Cansa” and this is what she had to say about the event:
“Our goal is to help raise funds for our childhood cancer patients, all funds go to CANSA,with our main goal being our children beneficiaries, the lodges specializing in care, providing homes for both the children and their parents for the duration of the treatment as well as warm meals and highly trained professionals so these young heroes get everything they need to grow up and change the world.
We will be hosting a 24-hour Gaming Live stream on Twitch on the 17th to 18th of September 2022 where we will have guest gamers taking part for 24 hours in aid of CANSA.W
e are a team of Gamers who are dedicated to raising funds and helping those who need us the most, we do this with our talent to game, entertain, and laughs for an average of 24 Hours while getting donations which go directly to our charities that we choose to get involved in.
CANSA has a department just for our childhood cancer survivors called TLC, here homes are provided while the families go through this trying time, such as Nicus Lodge in Pretoria, CANSA provides dedicated care and services through the amazing team of staff and volunteers who are the very backbone of CANSA.
Without these much-needed funds, CANSA would not be able to continue to provide this amazing service that we know is desperately needed and this is why we are fundraising.
Our Goal is R10000 but my hope along with the team would be to go beyond and raise as much as we possibly can, if we can help a handful, we can help move a mountain.”
