Servers will be shut down at the end of March 2024
Ubisoft has removed The Crew from all digital storefronts. Additionally, the online servers will be decommissioned on March 31, 2024.
Ubisoft announced the game’s delisting on The Crew’s Steam page. “The Crew is no longer available on the Steam store,” the notice stated. “All editions and additional content for The Crew are no longer available for purchase. The game will remain playable until March 31st, 2024, for all The Crew owners. After this date, the game servers will shut down, which means the game will not be accessible anymore.”
When you go to the game’s PSN page, it simply displays an error message. While the game is no longer available for digital purchase on the Microsoft Store, it appears to be playable via Ubisoft+ on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
Because The Crew requires an always-on connection, if the servers go down, the game, including its single-player campaign, will be rendered inoperable.
The Crew 2 is currently unaffected and available on all digital storefronts. The Crew Motorfest, the franchise’s most recent installment, was released in September.
