The-Division-2-Gets-New-Content

Fans who have been disappointed by frequent delays will receive new content for Division 2 this week, including a new game mode and features.

The Division 2 is a highly popular online ARPG that was released back in 2019 and fans of the franchise have been chomping at the bit for new content which has been less than forthcoming this year.

Ubisoft has now revealed that the game will be getting new content alongside a new season.

Season 9: Hidden Alliance, which will be released on May 12th, will include a new objective, new gear and weaponry, a new co-op option, and a new battle pass.

Captain Lewis of the advanced True Sons faction is a new enemy target for Season 9. Players must first kill four other targets to ruin the gang’s ambitions to take over Washington DC before tracking down and defeating this seasoned commander.

Three of the Division characters in full combat mode

Countdown is the name of the new co-op game, which takes eight players, divides them into two teams of four, and drops them at various spots on the map. They only have 15 minutes to secure and stabilize the region after that.

In contrast, expertise is a feature that allows players to enhance objects merely by utilizing them. The more you use an item or weapon, the more Proficiency Ranks it will give you. You can increase an item’s base stats once it reaches the greatest rank.

There will also be Twitch Drops for those Twitch junkies. These will commence on the 12th of May and run to the 31st of May and all the streamers in the “The Division 2” directory will be eligible for drops. Some of the rewards available during this time include a Legacy Cache, two High-End Caches, and one Exotic Cache.

There will also be a free weekend running from the 13th to the 15th of May for Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Ubisoft Connect, and the Epic Games Store.

Hidden Alliance is the first of three seasons, with seasons 10 and 11 following in 2022, though Ubisoft hasn’t said what additional gameplay material if any, we can expect from the other two.

This revelation will come as a pleasant surprise to those who have been waiting for fresh content and now have a definite release date and further details. This should keep them busy until the next big update, which is expected later this year.
