Sierra 117 Standing by…
The Forge toolset in Halo Infinite is an impressive piece of kit, especially since the team added AI to the mix, allowing for more in-depth user creations. One fan has recreated the entire opening mission of Halo 3 in Infinite’s Forge mode, so it’s spawned a pretty detailed one here.
Rebs Gaming has put the fan-made creation through its paces, and the results are quite impressive. The entire ‘Sierra 117’ level is included, complete with checkpoints, scripted AI, easter eggs, and other goodies.
The mod was made by Halo Infinite user ‘unbrokenonyx,’ and we’ll include a link to the Forge mode creation right here if you want to try it out for yourself. We might have to download this and give it a shot when we next boot up Halo Infinite because it looks fantastic.
Even in a more official capacity, the 2021 Xbox exclusive has been ringing in the nostalgia. 343 Industries released a ‘Halo 3 Refuelled’ playlist earlier this month, bringing a selection of classic remade Halo 3 maps to standard Halo Infinite multiplayer.
