Similarly, the Dome Shield gadget, utilized by the Heavy, has experienced a health decrease from 350 to 300. Additionally, the RPG-7 rocket launcher, a staple in the Heavy build, has seen reductions in damage and radius.
Beyond the alterations to the Heavy-related abilities and gadgets, the update encompasses a range of adjustments to other abilities, gadgets, and weapons. The evolution of the meta following this patch remains a subject of anticipation and observation.
In addition to addressing the extensively requested modifications to the Heavy class, Embark Studios has enhanced the anti-cheat system to reduce encounters with players engaging in unfair practices. Parallel to the much-requested Heavy adjustments, Embark Studios has also upgraded the anti-cheat measures to minimize encounters with players “who don’t play fair.” As previously communicated, the studio acknowledged on Discord that a “technical issue” had enabled dishonest players to exploit the system more extensively than anticipated.
