The Invincible is a Retro Sci-fi Thriller Based on Stainslaw Lem’s 1964 Novel ,and we have been graced with its first trailer.

This game is an enticing mix of Retro and Futuristic Sci-Fi which has its origins in the hard science Polish novel by Stainslaw Lem. The game is being developed by Starward Industries and was first revealed last year.

The first teaser trailer was released for the game and is viewed from the perspective of Dr. Yasna who is one of the main characters. She ignores Astrogater Novik’s advice and finds herself in some trouble.

The trailer is littered with retro sci-fi elements such as ray guns and spider bots and get a load of those spacesuits. The assumption is that humanity has not yet discovered digital technology and that advances in analog technology have enabled travel into space and to planets other than our own.

The planet featured is Regis III and it turns out that the planet is not very hospitable. Dr. Yasna is tasked with the mission of finding the rest of her crew members among the dangers that roam the planet. You will rely on your equipment to solve the mysteries of Regis II and as you delve deeper into the mystery, you realize that perhaps you are not alone and that some places like this planet are better left untouched. But it’s too late to turn back.

The trailer is as intriguing and exciting as any sci-fi film involving retro space travel, and despite the fact that it is simply a teaser, it does an excellent job of drawing you in and making you want more.

The official site for the game is designed in the same retro sci-fi style as you would see in an old-style comic adding to the mystique and atmosphere surrounding this exciting game.

The Invincible will be released on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S and the release date has not yet been confirmed but Starward is aiming for some time in 2022.
