Electronic Arts, Respawn, and Lucasfilm Games are currently working on three new Star Wars games in the foreseeable future.
Fans of the franchise already knew that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was getting a sequel but now there have been two more Star Wars games confirmed too, which will be exciting news for Star Wars fans.
On the official EA website, it states: “
Electronic Arts Inc. and Lucasfilm Games are joining forces to continue delivering all-new, world-class gaming experiences set within the beloved Star Wars galaxy. Respawn Entertainment, best known for its work on Apex Legends™, Titanfall™, and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order™, is leading the development and production of these new projects. V
ince Zampella, Group GM and Founder of Respawn will oversee this new phase of EA’s relationship with Lucasfilm, building on Respawn’s award-winning history in game development and expertise in telling compelling Star Wars stories.”

Regarding the announcement Respawn founder Vince Zampella said: “We are huge fans of Star Wars here at Respawn and we’re thrilled to work with Lucasfilm Games on new titles that we have wanted to make for years.”
The second new game from EA and Respawn, which will be a first-person shooter, will be directed by Peter Hirschmann.
The third game will be a strategy game with Respawn assisting in production, but Bit Reactor, a newly founded studio, will take the lead on that title.
When it comes to the forthcoming Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, there’s at least some indication of where the series’ next edition might go.
The other two titles though have been kept in the dark for the time being and not much is mentioned regarding these titles besides their existence.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’s story is set in the Star Wars universe five years after Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, and follows Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis, who becomes a target of the Galactic Empire and is hunted throughout the galaxy by two Inquisitors while attempting to complete his training, escape his troubled past, and rebuild the fallen Jedi Order.
The game was released on the 15th of November 2019 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, on the 24th of November 2020 for Stadia, and lastly on the 11th of June 2021 PS5, Xbox Series X/S.
Star Wars fans will be ecstatic to hear that three new games are coming to the Star Wars universe, and we’ll be on the lookout for any rumors or information about this.
