The “future of the Division franchise” will be revealed by Ubisoft today (the 20th of April).
The announcement was made via an official Tweet:
Aside from revealing The Division 2’s year five roadmap and its new Descent mode. The presentation will provide an update on the Division Resurgence project and a gameplay preview of The Division Heartland.
Developed for iOS and Android devices, The Division Resurgence aims to bring the full Division experience to mobile devices.
In recent news, Ubisoft confirmed that The Division Resurgence would be released by the 31st of March, 2024.
In addition, Heartland is a free-to-play game for PCs and consoles developed by Red Strom Entertainment that features streamlined PvP and PvE modes.
It sees players take on the role of new playable characters as they fight to restore order to the fictionalized rural town of Silver Creek from the streets of Washington DC in The Division: Heartland.
The Division news will be revealed on Twitch and YouTube at 7 pm BST/8 pm CEST/11 am PDT today.
During a Ubisoft Forward Live stream on 12th June, Ubisoft will show off more of its future titles. There will also be several other notable showcases during the week now vacated by the cancelled E3 2023.
It seems Ubisoft has a lot planned for the future of the franchise and we will be watching for any updates.
