Xbox Game Pass has added more games to their list for May.
May is in full swing and Game Pass subscribers have already been graced with seven confirmed games for this month and now they have added another three for subscribers to enjoy.
The three new games on offer include three completely different genres including visual novel adventure, Atmospheric war survival, and lastly ice hockey action.
Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Anniversary Edition (Cloud, Console, and PC) (10th of May):
Jabberwock Island – once a popular tourist destination, this now uninhabited island remains oddly pristine. You and your classmates at the elite Hope’s Peak Academy have been brought to this island by your super-cute teacher for a “lovey-dovey, heart-throbbing school trip.”
Everyone seems to be having fun in the sun…until Monokuma returns to restart his murderous game! Trapped on this island of mutual killing, your only hope of escape rests in solving the island’s mysteries. But be warned—sometimes the truth can be its own despair…
This War of Mine: Final Cut (Cloud, Console, and PC) ID@Xbox (10th of May):
This War of Mine: Final Cut is the conclusive, remastered edition of the game that contains all the updates and free expansions released so far and introduces not only a new scenario but also expands all scenarios with the locations known from Stories DLCs – even if you don’t own those. In short words – that means you can now experience lots of never-seen-before playthroughs and struggle with new challenges.
NHL 22 (Console) EA Play (12th of May):
NHL 22 is an ice hockey simulation which jumps into the frostbite engine after using the Ignite engine for seven years. The game will introduce Superstar X-Factors, which are abilities that makes superstar players unique, and differentiates them from other players.
The NHL team is rebuilding all the arenas around the new lighting engine, allowing for enhanced particle and visual effects on the ice and elsewhere, as well as the character models are also being redone. NHL 22 also introduces new gameplay animations, with new reverse hitting, new pass and shot blocks, new pickups, revamped puck protection, additional goalie saves/pokes, and more.
