Xbox Game Pass has added more games to their list for January 2022.

This year started off with a bang as Xbox Game Pass released three new games for subscribers to enjoy and have now added seven more to be released this month.

They have added some award-winning games as well as some older titles and the genres are just as varied.

The Games subscribers can expect in January include:

Gorogoa (Cloud, Console, and PC) (ID@Xbox) (4th of January):

Winner of Debut Game at the 2018 BAFTA Games Awards, as well as Best Mobile Game and the Innovation Award at the GDC 2018 Choice Awards, Gorogoa is an elegant evolution of the puzzle genre, told through a beautifully hand-drawn story designed and illustrated by Jason Roberts.

Olija (Cloud, Console, and PC) (ID@Xbox) (4th of January):

Olija is a game about Faraday’s quest, a man shipwrecked then trapped in the mysterious country of Terraphage. Armed with a legendary harpoon, he and other castaways try to leave this hostile country to return to their homelands.

Through adventurous exploration, narration, and razor-sharp combat, the player will discover a strange world and its inhabitants, including Olija, an enigmatic lady that Faraday finds himself bound to over time. Inspired by swashbuckling tales and cinematic adventure games, Olija is a story about facing the unknown in adversity.

The Pedestrian (Cloud, Console, and PC) (ID@Xbox) (4th of January):

The Pedestrian is a 2.5D side-scrolling puzzle platformer. You are The Pedestrian! Enter into a dynamic 3D world with stunning graphics and challenging puzzles.

You play by rearranging and reconnecting public signs in order to explore and advance through each engaging environment.

Embr (Cloud, Console, and PC) (ID@Xbox) (6th of January):

Team up with friends to become the most über firefighters money can buy. Rush into burning buildings filled with dangerous hazards, valuables, and top-of-the-line security systems. Fight fires, save lives, salvage goods, and make life-changing money. Buy high-tech tools with advanced upgrades, and fresh outfits that unlock new ways to play.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition (Console and PC) (EA Play) (6th of January):

Outer Wilds (Cloud, Console, and PC) (ID@Xbox) (6th of January):

Spelunky 2 (Console and PC) (ID@Xbox) (13th of January):

Spelunky returns in this greatly-expanded sequel to the original roguelike platformer! Meet the next generation of explorers as they find themselves on the Moon, searching for treasure and missing family.

Spelunky 2 builds upon the unique, randomized challenges that made the original a classic, offering a huge adventure designed to satisfy players old and new.

What is Xbox Game Pass?

Xbox Game Pass is a game subscription service hosted by Microsoft. Being a valid subscription holder gives you access to a massive library of games. There are new games joining Xbox Game Pass regularly.

If the game supports it, you can play it on our Xbox One/ Xbox Series console, or Windows 10, last but not least, Android devices can also enjoy the supported games via xCloud. 

Xbox Game Pass also gives subscription holders a number of other perks. There are numerous perks that subscription holders have access to, however, some are only available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
