The NSFW adult Vampire game has no set release date yet but you can play the free demo now.
Dubbed an “adult cyberpunk crime lord RPG,” the game is clearly not intended for younger audiences. While a definitive release date is still pending, the developer has already unveiled a demo for players to experience.
The available demo on both Steam and itch.io starts with an initial mission, placing you as part of a crew assigned to eliminate an ancient vampire. While undead society forbids killing their own kind, there’s no rule against employing armed leather-clad enforcers to carry out the task. A clever workaround!
In a puzzle-infused dungeon, you’ll find a technologically enhanced figure resembling a nosferatu overseeing a collection of Lovecraftian creatures. The Vampire Syndicate cautions that the demo features somewhat unpolished combat, and you have the option to skip the narrative segment.
Despite employing strategic combat mechanics like movement allowances and action points, the battlefield consists primarily of an inert grid that separates combatants. In a shootout, relying on shotguns and pistols rather than knives leaves you exposed without cover, an unusual choice.
Steam had this to say about the storyline:
“For those who want to be fully immersed, Vampire Syndicate offers a lengthy main storyline that will plumb the depths of MoonFall and reveal the terrible origin of all vampires. Additionally, the vampire lineage that the player chooses will alter story events, making each playthrough with a different lineage significantly different.”
The primary objective of Vampire Syndicate, as indicated by its name, revolves around the player engaging in unlawful deeds on behalf of their lineage faction. Except for a few regulations, the player enjoys full autonomy in executing these actions. They will also have the flexibility to accept missions or contracts according to their preferences.
Please remember that this game is meant for mature audiences and includes explicit sexual themes. Vampires have an inherent connection to sexuality. And as you play the game, you’ll encounter various opportunities for engaging in casual encounters or pursuing deeper romantic relationships. Explicit sexual content is present.
